Healthwin's Manuka Honey is graded by the UMF grading system which appraises natural markers found in the honey in order to assure purity and quality. The UMF quality trademark can only be used on genuine Manuka Honey from New Zealand.
Our UMF 20+ Manuka Honey indicates some of the highest levels of beneficial compounds retained, showing at least 829mg of Methylglyoxal (MGO) levels (linked to antibacterial properties) & 200mg of Leptosperin (linked to anti-inflammatory properties). In comparison, many supermarket grade honeys sit at the 20+ MGO level.
