Goji Berry
Goji berries are dried red berries that have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 2,000 years. They are thought to help prevent premature ageing, boost the immune system, have benefits for diabetes and protect against heart disease and cancer.
Goji berries are full of nutrients, being high in fiber, protein and a range of vitamins and minerals including iron, copper, selenium and vitamins A and C. Goji berries are also full of antioxidants, which may help fight ageing by preventing free radicals from damaging collagen in the skin. Other potential benefits of goji berries have said to include improving of blood sugar control, boosting of energy levels, helping with weight loss, improving of cholesterol levels, boosting the immune system and has also been linked to anti-cancer activity.
