MSM (Methyl sulfonylmethane)
MSM is a natural form of sulphur, which is one of the principal elements found naturally in the body. MSM is found in all the tissues and fluids of the body and is essential for many types of healthy cell function. It is required for the proper assimilation of the sulphur containing amino acids methionine and cysteine, and is required in the formation of many proteins and enzymes. It is also found in major structural molecules in the body such as cartilage, bone, tendons, ligaments and muscle tissue. Levels of MSM in the body decline with age, resulting in symptoms of fatigue, tissue and organ malfunction and an increased susceptibility to disease.
